Further Education

Photo : Coventry SpireThere are two further education colleges in Coventry, providing a range of  vocational and academic opportunities for study, and all of Coventry's 19 secondary schools have sixth forms. In addition the city hosts Hereward College, a national residential college that provides educational opportunities for students with Special Educational Needs.

To help young people continue their education the government funded Post-16 Access Fund provides 16-19 year olds with funding to stay in education. Students over 16 years of age, who intend to study at a local Further Education College, should ask the college about help from their Access Fund.
