Coventry's OfSTED reports
OfSTED inspection 2004
Coventry's Children and Young People's Service received its second OfSTED inspection in 2004.
A team of inspectors visited the education authority and spent two weeks closely examining every aspect of our work - talking to officers, city council colleagues, partner organisations, headteachers, governors and elected members - to get a detailed picture of what we do.
The overall effectiveness of the education authority was graded by the team as 2 in a scale where 1 is the highest and 7 the lowest. OfSTED praised Coventry's "high ambition, open communication and strong relationships with schools."
